The striking athletic build of the Z4 goes much deeper than the sculpted surfaces of its exterior design. To fully take in the Z4's muscular, modern design, you have to slip into the bolstered sport seat. And see how the unique metal surfacing of the exterior is carried over to the door handles, shift knob and trim on the steering wheel. Grab on to the rich leather of the three-spoke sport steering wheel. And run your hand along the sweeping line created by the dash and console, taking in the openness and simplicity of a cockpit designed for maximum appreciation of open-top driving. Clean and precise, all controls are comfortably and ergonomically presented to the driver for Recessed within the dash sits an all-new instrument cluster, incorporating twin, visor-shaded dials for the tach and speedometer. When the sun is up and the top is down, the visors fight glare and reflections to keep the driver completely in command. Beneath the dials, an LED display presents odometer readings, miles-to-service countdown, and readouts for the available on-board computer Sleek aluminum surfaces (standard on Z4 roadster 3.0i; included in Z4 roadster 2.5i with Premium Package) flow across the “T” shape.
